Research and Markets forecasts that Latin America’s data centre colocation market will reach $5.09 billion by 2031, growing 15.2% annually from 2025.
Brazil remains the region’s largest market, with internet penetration above 86.5% in 2025. In Colombia, Claro Colombia is investing more than $200 million in fibre.
The report lists eleven operators adding capacity across the region, including Equinix and Cirion Technologies. More local options give buyers room to compare providers on latency, compliance and data residency, not simply on whether capacity is available.
