This is an improvement from the previous qualification showing Uruguay as “transparent and reliable before the international community".
Uruguay fulfilled its commitments to the European Union and thus consolidated its position as a cooperating jurisdiction.
It is expected that this new positive status will benefit the investment and trade of EU countries to Uruguay.
